Untitled Poem "Spring"

The sun is shining.
The world is happy.
All because of Spring.
The flowers are growing,
The clouds are white.
The grass is growing,
How do I feel this way?
I don't know.
How about you?
Maybe because Spring is here
Hip hip hooray!

Softball girl

I am on a softball team. One day I had a softball game. I really wanted to be the catcher. I thought it would be fun to do that. The Coach asked who would like to catch this inning, so I raised my hand. The Coach said "What about Rachel, she has not gotten to be catcher at all" So he made me catcher for the inning. I was so happy.

I had to put on a whole bunch of stuff. A mask, a pad that covered my stomach, and shin guards for my legs too. When I got all the stuff on I didn't like it. My helmet felt weird, because it was covering my mouth alot. And the shin guards felt like bugs were bitting my legs and I got scrapes all over my legs.

It was cool trying to catch the balls. I didn't catch any, but I tried my hardest.

I was happy to get all the stuff off me.

Zoo Daze

Zoo Day.

I was visiting my cousins in Leavenworth. One day we went to the Zoo. I saw this monkey. It was in (on) one side of the room. It swung from one side of the room to the other side of the room. And when it was on the roof it climbed over the fenced area that was on the roof. Then he stuck his hand into the fence. I was really scared because it looked like the monkey was stuck. It looked like he was trying to pull his hand out. It was not stuck. He just pulled his hand right out.

I also saw a whole bunch of Otters all cuddled together. They were in the same cage as the monkeys. That was my day at the Zoo. It was a lot of fun. There was a lot more that we did, but this was the funniest and the cutest.
